Admissions

Recent medical certificate and a copy of the birth certificate
must accompany all application

All applications must be confirmed with payment of a non-refundable
deposit($US 100)

Children entering our primary school will be required to sit a
placement test at the discretion of the principal.

A parent or guardian must complete the school registration
form on behalf of the child entering the school for the first
time and revised at the beginning of each school year.

School fees for all pupils must be paid by the dates agreed in the
fee contract

A child will be accepted provided h/she is able to cope with the
standards fo the school, and space is available. A limit of students
per class is established by the school

Children will not be accepted the following term if past fees are
due

Parents or guardians who plan to withdraw their child/children should
give at least on term's notice.

The school should be notified promptly if the students must be
absent for any reason

THe school discourages parents taking children out of our school
during the school term. The school is not obligated to set work
for children who are away on holidays during the school term. Students
will be expected to catch up on all missed work and assignments.

Children suffering from contagious diseases, or who come from
homes thus affected should not attend school during th period
of contagion and, at the school's request, must have a Medical
Certificate signed by a Health Officer stating freedom from
contagion.

The parents or guardians of any child who has any kind of allergy
must inform the school in writing of this, and for any treatment
when necessary

Any medication brought to school has to be clearly explained by parents
to teachers.
School Hours

Students are expected to be punctual and participate in all school activities
(Morning Devotion, Physical Education).
- All students are required to leave the premises by 15 minutes following
the end of school except where arrangements are made. A teacher will be on
duty up to 15 minutes following school.

After school all children must wait on the steps of the school. The school
must be notified if someone other than the parent will be picking up the child
-
Parents are required to pick up children no later than 15 minutes
after dismissal. Students who remain at school after that time
will be placed in our after school care programme, at a cost of US$ 6 per child
per hour. This will be prorated accordingly, the fee must be paid when the child is
picked up.

At lunch time no child shall leave the school grounds unless accompanied by a parent or guardian,
, or permission has been requested in writing by a parent
or guardian and granted by the principal.

The school should be notified if it is necessary for a student
to leave during school hours

School trips conducted by the school require parent's
or guardian's permission in writing. Generally a form is issued for this purpose
Uniforms
- Students are required to wear school uniforms and present
a neat and respectable appearance. If for any reason a child
is unable to attend school in uniform, a note from the parent
or guardian must be sent with the student

No jewelry excluding wristwatches may be worn at school. Girls with
pierced ears may only wear stud earrings

Physical education uniforms should be worn on fridays in order
for students to participate in Physical Education (Navy blue pants
with light blue shirt and tennish shoes)

Cub Scout and Brownies uniforms are to be worn every first and third
Thursday of each month

Hair - Girls' hair are expected to be combed neatly or braided.
beads are not allowed. Caps and hats are not a part of the uniform, hence
they should not be worn

Shoes - Students are expected to wear Keds(brown or black).
Sandals, flip-flops, boots or running shoes are not permitted
