Science

Precious Treasures School believes that science is a vital ingredient in every student's education. Scientific literacy is crucial in today's society. Our programs are designed to give a student secure knowledge based on both the physical and life sciences.

Mathematics

Mathematics in many ways is a universal language. At Precious Treasures, our students are taught to become fluent in Mathmematics. Basic skills are introduced early in the preschool years. Solving problems and ability to reason will help our students in their later academic years.

Language Arts/English Language

Visitors to our school are amazed to see 4-5 year olds reading. We strive to cultivate reading and writing skills essential for success. The emphasis on reading and writing begins the first day of kindergarten. In the senior class where children are comfortable with a variety of reading activities, emphasis is placed on comprehension nd creative writing.

History/Social Studies

The Precious Treasures social studies program tries to foster an appreciation and understanding of the past. We believe that understanding the past will prepare our students for the challenges of the future.

Foreign Languages

Believing that our students will benefit from increased opportunities in international communication, Precious Treasures offers Spanish instruction at the Pre-school level.

Music & Drama

The fine arts provide great opportunities for self-expression and creativity. Students are exposed from the earliest age to music and drama. The second holds more than one production filled with music each year. Our day in both the Pre-school and primary begins with devotions.

Physical Education

Precious Treasures School is dedicated to developing the whole student , not just a child's intellect. Physical education is a crucial part of our curriculum and is invaluable in the development of self-esteem, confidence and team working abilities.

Environmental Awareness

At Precious Treasures School, children develop an environmental consciousness at an early age. They are encouraged to respect and care for living things. Our landscaped gardens provide a great outdoor center.

Religious Studies

Precious Treasures is dedicated to providing a stimulating and secure Christian environment to develop the spiritual man. A daily devotion enriches athe students' spiritual lives and promotes Christian ideals. Religious education is taught as separate subject.
